How commercial work is hired

01 Production companies

The most common setup. A brand hires an agency, the agency hires a production company, and the producer brings us in as the drone unit.

Example: Ford, Powerade, NatGeo × Toyota
02 Agencies

Agencies that produce in-house hire us directly for campaigns that need FPV shots.

Spots, launch films, social cutdowns
03 Brands

Brands with their own content teams hire us directly. We can bring a small crew or plug into theirs.

FAQ

Schools and stadiums

Do you handle campus drone approval?

Yes. Many campuses require an FAA license and school approval before anyone flies on campus. We are FAA Part 107 certified, send a certificate of insurance up to $10M named to your school, and handle the campus approval and any airspace authorization.

Can you fly inside a stadium or arena?

Yes. Our 3-inch cinewhoops have prop guards and are made for flying indoors and close to people. Our stadium work includes FIFA Vancouver and FIFA Seattle.

Flying

Can you fly indoors, near people?

Yes. We use 3-inch cinewhoops with prop guards for indoor work and flying close to talent.

How fast can you fly?

Up to 70 mph with a cinema camera on board. Cinewhoops top out around 40 mph.

Can the director watch live?

Yes. DJI SDR transmission is available so the director and DP can watch each run.

Can you fly in cities or near airports?

Some airspace needs FAA authorization. Send the location and we will check it.

What about weather?

Drones do not fly in heavy rain or high wind. We make the call with production ahead of the shoot day.

Cameras and gear

What cameras can you fly?

RED Komodo, Sony FX6, and Freefly Ember on cinelifters. GoPro on the 5-inch drones and cinewhoops.

What lenses do you use?

Laowa 9mm, 11mm, and 14mm, Voigtlander 15mm, and Nikkor 18mm.

Booking

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. FAA Part 107 certified and insured up to $10M. Certificates of insurance on request.

What do you need from production?

The location, the date, and the shots you need. We handle airspace authorization, permits, and insurance certificates.

Do you travel?

Yes. We are based in the Pacific Northwest and work nationwide.

What does it cost?

It depends on the shots, location, and deliverables. Send the project details and we will reply with a quote within one business day.
